- Must have experience coaching youth soccer
- Must be Background-checked
- Undergo Internal training

Hello, I am Coach Gionatan Surrenti, the Kicks Soccer Academy Owner and Director. I was born and bred in Italy, and I played competitive soccer until the age of 16 in Rome and Italy. I have an an extensive background in both the performing arts, notably in "CONTACT IMPROVISATION", a contemporary movement form that I have taught and performed in Europe and the USA for over 10 years from 1997 to 2009 and in HR consulting, notably outplacement and career coaching. I have been actively coaching recreational and competitive soccer in Louisville since 2011, and currently coaching for the Lou City/Racing Junior Academy. I hold a US Youth Soccer D coaching license. My purpose with KSA is to inspire, train, and prepare children and families for recreational and competitive soccer and instill a life-lasting love for the game of soccer.

Hi! I'm Ella Kaylor, and I’m a junior at DuPont Manual High School. I´ve been on my varsity high school team since freshmen year, and I play on the 07/08 Falls City team. I work at Kicks Soccer Academy as the social media manager and coach at various elementary schools. I love working at KSA because soccer is my favorite sport, and I like seeing the kids grow and improve their skills. Coach Gionatan was also my first soccer coach, so I love that I get to work with him. My favorite team is Barcelona FC because I love how they work as a team.

Hey! I’m Karam Bashir, and I’m a Sophomore at Ballard High School. I work at Dunn for the age groups of K-5. My favorite soccer player is Neymar. I like to coach for KSA because I get to try and help younger kids fall in love with the game

Hi! My name is Nick Gutierrez. I’m a junior at Bellarmine University, where I study Exercise Science on a Pre-Physical Therapy track. School has helped me better understand how athletes move and develop, which I bring into my coaching. I coach K–5th–grade boys and girls, and my main focus is helping players learn the basics, build confidence, and have fun while playing soccer. I don’t currently hold any coaching licenses, but I’m always looking to learn and grow as a coach. My favorite soccer player is Giovani Dos Santos, because he’s considered one of the best players in Mexico’s history and has always been a big inspiration to me. I like coaching for KSA because it gives me the chance to work with young players, help them grow, and share my love for the game in a positive and encouraging environment.

Hey! My name is Michelle Huerta, I’m a freshman at Bellarmine University, majoring in Pre-Physical Therapy, and I graduated from the Ballard Soccer program in 2025. I coach students from K-5. My favorite soccer player is Trent Alexander-Arnold. I like to coach for KSA because I enjoy teaching and seeing kids have fun with the sport I grew up playing!

My favorite soccer player is Cole Palmer, and I like to coach for KSA because I like to help kids learn and improve while also having fun and creating good memories for the kids.
